Isosulfan Blue is primarily used for sentinel lymph node mapping and lymphatic vessel visualization during cancer surgeries.

Isosulfan blue and methylene blue are not the same compound. Isosulfan blue is a triarylmethane dye, used in the sentinel lymph node mapping, while methylene blue is a thiazine dye used in the treatment of methemoglobinemia.

Isosfulfan blue  and lymphazurin are the same compound used to delineate lymphatic vessels.

Isosulfan blue is not radioactive and is used to stain lymphatic vessels and nodes to a visible blue color, and aids in the surgical identification.
